Thanks to all who packed the Motor house and made the Pique Collective “Wood n’ Cows” concert a huge success! A special thanks again to Diamondback Brewing Co. and Union Craft Brewing for providing the beers, and Ann Walsh for making the beautiful wood blocks. You can see more of Ann’s works here.
Don’t miss the Pique Collective performing live at the Motor House arts venue on the corner of North Avenue and Howard Street on Friday, March 24th. Doors at 7:30, music at 8pm. $10 tickets includes food and drinks provided by Union Craft brewing and Diamondback brewing. The program features works by Reich, Rzewski, Glass, and Johnson. Special instruments made by Ann Walsh will be used for Steve Reich’s “Music for Pieces of Wood.”
On February 18th, 2017, the Pique Collective in collaboration with Ann Walsh premiered the composition, “Music for Exploding Heads,” by Jeremy Lyons. Check out two recording angles of the show by following this link to the Listening Samples.
Jeremy will be performing an original composition with the Pique Collective in collaboration with the artist, Ann Walsh on Saturday, February 18th. The following link will direct you to the eventbrite page where tickets can be bought for $5 (plus fees).

Come hear Jeremy perform some guitar solos, music for voice and guitar, and music for flute and guitar as he collaborates with the Baltimore music ensemble, Classical Revolution. The concert will take place Friday, September 23rd at Liam Flynn’s Ale House located at 22 W. North Avenue, Baltimore MD 21201. The music will be from 9-11pm and there is no cover charge. A wide variety of performances will occur, and a good time is guaranteed!
Congratulations to the West Chester University guitar ensemble! Directed by Jeremy Lyons, the ensemble gave a wonderful performance on Friday, April 8th at West Chester University, and then delivered an encore performance at the Philadelphia Classical Guitar Society on Sunday, April 10th at the Settlement Music School in Philadelphia.
The ambitious program included music for two guitars by Fernando Sor and Igor Stravinsky, music for three guitars by Johann Mattheson and Béla Bartók, and music for four guitars by Georg Philipp Telemann and Leonardo Balada. The “Apuntes” by Leonardo Balada was performed using two guitars on each part and featured the whole ensemble making great music together!
The West Chester University Guitar Ensemble will be performing on Friday, April 8th 2016 in the Ware Family Recital Hall of the Swope Music Building, West Chester PA. The concert is free and open to the public. Directed by Jeremy Lyons, the ensemble features guitar duets, trios, a quartet and a septet. The diverse program contains works from earlier composers such as Johann Mattheson, Georg Philipp Telemann, and Fernando Sor, as well as the sounds of twentieth-century masters such as Béla Bartók, Igor Stravinsky, and Leonardo Balada. The recital begins at 8:15 PM.
A wonderful crowd at the 2016 Bach marathon was rewarded with a hand-picked suite for guitar performed by Jeremy Lyons.

Jeremy will be performing on Sunday, February 21st with Soprano, Lisa Perry during an evensong service at St. David’s of Roland Park. The music will begin at 4:30 followed by an Episcopal service. The program will feature Spanish music for voice and guitar. Details can be found by following the link below:
Jeremy will return to St. David’s of Roland Park to participate in this year’s Bach marathon on Sunday, March 13th. The event takes place from 2-7pm and Jeremy will be performing about 25 minutes of music including a Prelude, March, Gigue, and Chaconne all by J.S. Bach.
