On Sunday, February 25th, Jeremy and Zoe Johnstone-Stewart will premiere a composition for two guitars titled, “Storied” by Edmund Scott Miller. The performance is part of the “Made in Baltimore” commission presentation organized by the Baltimore Classical Guitar Society. The society commissioned four local composers to write for solo guitar or guitar ensemble. “Storied” features two guitars each tuned to a different overtone series, and the many techniques used by each player aim to realize the regional history and socio-economic strata that inspired the composition.
The concert begins at 2pm and will be held in Linehan concert hall on the campus of UMBC in Catonsville, MD.
