Come hear the Pique Collective perform contrasting contemporary works at the Baltimore Book Festival on Friday, September 22nd at 5pm. The performance will happen on the Enoch Pratt Free Library Children’s Stage located next to the Baltimore Visitor’s Center in the Inner Harbor.
This presentation will be a collaboration with the Writers in Baltimore Schools Program. Pique Collective will perform a piece of music and then Writers in Baltimore Schools will give a literary response based on the music they hear.

The Pique Collective will be performing Terry Riley’s “In C” at the annual Artscape festival in Baltimore, MD on Saturday, July 22nd.
This performance will be held on the steps of the MICA main building, 1300 West Mount Royal Avenue, and is free for anyone who wishes to watch or participate in the music making! Simple instruments as well as instruments made by Ann Walsh will be made available to the public to join the jam session that is Riley’s famous musical process.

Jeremy will be performing with the Snow Pond Symphony Orchestra as they put on an all Gershwin concert on Sunday, June 25th 2017. The concert will be held at New England Music Camp in Sidney, Maine. The Pique Collective will perform a concert on Saturday, June 10th at Corcycle indoor cycling studio (115 N. Charles St. Baltimore MD 21201). This show will be a unique experience featuring a dark setting that will allow the audience to relax and listen without any visual stimulus. Tickets are limited and can be purchased through eventbrite in advance. Music by Cage, Gardner, Domeniconi, and Pärt.
Come support the Pique Collective this Sunday, May 21st at Charles Street Barre studio (339 N. Charles St. Baltimore MD 21201). Doors will open at 12:30pm and the cost of admission is $5-$15 depending on how generous you are feeling. Music, mimosas, and bagels (provided by Bottoms Up Bagels) are all included in the cost, and all proceeds help fund the Pique Collective Community Concert at Artscape 2017!

On Friday, May 5th, The new Baltimore contemporary music ensemble, Mind on Fire, will hold its first large concert and variety show. The show will feature works by Amy Beth Kirsten, Christopher Cerrone, the Nudie suits, Purcell, Fred Rzewski, and more. The night will open with poet, Janea Kelly, reading selections from her work, and the puppet play, FRUITS, by Feral Woman. The variety show begins at 8pm and will be at E.M.P. Collective on 307 W. Baltimore Street, 21201.

Jeremy Lyons is the guitarist for Mind on Fire, performing on both classical and electric guitar. All five members of the Pique Collective are also part of Mind on Fire.

Don’t miss the Pique Collective performing live at the Motor House arts venue on the corner of North Avenue and Howard Street on Friday, March 24th. Doors at 7:30, music at 8pm. $10 tickets includes food and drinks provided by Union Craft brewing and Diamondback brewing. The program features works by Reich, Rzewski, Glass, and Johnson. Special instruments made by Ann Walsh will be used for Steve Reich’s “Music for Pieces of Wood.”
